Kia Kaha, Kia Ora | Be Active, Be Well
ACTIVE 4 LIFEGetting more people, more active, more often!
Active 4 Life has been a part of the Hawke’s Bay community for over 30 years. This has been delivered by Sport Hawke’s Bay for its duration and has a very strong and passionate group of seniors who both participate and volunteer their time to ensure the smooth running of these programmes.
Our focus is to provide an opportunity for older adults to maintain their health and remain independent for as long as possible. Our classes also provide an opportunity for socialisation as many of our seniors live alone. Our programmes have a positive impact on both their mental and physical health.
KEEPING PEOPLE MOVING IN THE BAY
Active 4 Life was established in 2014 evolving from the earlierKiwi Seniors, established in 1991. Specifically tailored for adults(Kaumātua) over the age of 50.
