ACTIVE LIVING ADVISOR - SPORT HAWKE'S BAY (Full time)
Sport Hawke’s Bay exists to enhance the health and well-being of Hawke’s Bay by influencing, enabling, and supporting our communities to be more physically active. We are looking for a new Active Living Advisor to join our Health Team. The Active Living Advisor will work with our Green Prescription clients to provide an equitable service to deliver better health outcomes and well-being through improved nutrition, physical activity and community connections.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about leading an active healthy lifestyle and enjoys working in a team of like-minded people. You need to be comfortable with delivering workshops on a range of topics, including cooking workshops, group physical activity sessions, including gym and pool sessions and running workshops on nutrition.

COMMUNITY SPORTS COORDINATOR AT DISABILITY SPORT AND RECREATION HAWKE'S BAY (Part time)

Disability Sport and Recreation Hawke’s Bay (DSRHB) is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Community Sport Coordinator to help create and deliver inclusive sport and recreation opportunities for people living with disabilities in Hawke’s Bay.
Position Title: Community Sport Coordinator
Organisation: Disability Sport and Recreation Hawke’s Bay (DSRHB)
Location: Working from home and Sport Hawke’s Bay office
Hours: Part-time, 20 hours per week - Fixed Term (12 months based on funding - renewable)

BOARD MEMBER VACANCIES - BLIND SPORT NEW ZEALAND (Full time)
Blind Sport New Zealand is seeking up to six new Board members due to positions becoming vacant as terms are completed, and a recent constitutional change allowing for increased Board size.
Do you have, or know someone with skills in the following areas:
• Finance
• Legal
• Marketing / Communications
• Fundraising / Sponsorship
• General business acumen
The board's focus in 2025 will include implementing the 2025-2028 Strategic Plan, exploring and securing new revenue streams, and continuously improving the organisation’s financial sustainability.
A Board position would appeal to individuals who want to support the development of blind and low-vision sports in New Zealand. BSNZ would welcome applications from people with lived experience of blindness or low vision. Previous experience in the disability sport sector would be an advantage.

SPORT HAWKE'S BAY - GROUP EXERCISE INSTRUCTOR (up to 5 hours per week)
Sport Hawke’s Bay exists to enhance the health and wellbeing of Hawke’s Bay by influencing, enabling and supporting our communities to be more physically active.
A casual instructing position is available within our Active Communities team.
Our Recreation Instructors provide high-quality, low-impact group exercise programmes. One of our specialised areas includes programmes for adults and kaumātua over the age of 50 to improve strength, balance and flexibility, along with Tai Chi at a variety of venues in Napier and Hastings. An instructor is required for up to 5 hours per week to extend the range and scope of programmes on offer.
If you consider yourself reliable, energetic and fun-loving with a passion for working with older adults, we have an exciting opportunity for you.
Group exercise instruction experience/qualifications are desirable but not essential as training can be supplied.
