The Wairoa Community Centre is a $4 million wet and dry facility, incorporating a heated indoor swimming pool, fitness centre, function rooms and gymnasium / stadium, equipped with bench seating and a high ropes confidence course.
The Centre is owned by the Wairoa Community Centre Trust, and Sport Hawke's Bay currently owns the lease to operate the facility, utilising it as a facility in its own right and as the base for all Sport Hawke's Bay operations in Wairoa.

Swimming Pool
The 25m indoor pool is home to a variety of programmes for the Wairoa community including Learn To Swim programmes, aqua aerobics, dive training, swimming sports, club swimming, rehabilitation training and lane swimming. For more information on the swimming pool, please click here
Fitness Centre
The Fitness Centre incorporates cardio machines, weight training and aerobic classes. It's used by members of the public as their local gym, but is also utilised by Green Prescription clients and other physical activity based inititiaves. Function Rooms
The AFFCO Function Room is a multi-purpose room which can be easily set up for meetings or conferences, weddings, auctions or anything else which requires an enclosed room. Stadium
The Stadium is a multi-purpose venue that can be used for sporting and non-sporting events alike. From basketball games to the New Zealand Symphony Opera, holiday programmes to Careers Expos, there is a raft of possibilities for the use of this area. High Ropes Course
Reputed to be the highest indoor ropes course in New Zealand and a fantastic team building or confidence inspiring exercise. The course has 1-person and 2-person obstacles, culminating in the "Big Swing", allowing particpants to swing from the rafters!
