The Wairoa Community Centre Fitness Centre incorporates the best of a gym with cardio machines and weight training, but also offers a variety of different physical activity classes including aqua aerobics, aerobics and pilates. 

The Fitness Centre can be used on a casual basis, or membership packages (from 1 to 52 weeks, with or without access to the pool) can be arranged.   A joining fee of $15 applies to all new membership packages, and includes a fitness assessment and initial programme development.
