2008 Gen-i Hawkes Bay Sports Awards

Sport Hawke’s Bay are proud to present the 2008 Gen-i Sport Hawke’s Bay sports awards. The gala function will take place on Friday 27th March 2009 at the Pettigrew.Green Arena, Taradale. This is a great opportunity to recognise and celebrate sporting excellence in Hawke’s Bay.

Nominations are now being sought in the following 11 categories:
Junior Sportsperson
Senior Sportsperson
Masters Sportsperson
Junior Team
Senior Team
Coach
Administrator/Manager
Official
Club Operation
Club Performance
Service to sport.

The overall 2008 Sportsperson of the year winner will be selected from the winners of the Junior sportsperson, Senior Sportsperson, Masters Sportsperson, Junior Team and Senior Team awards.

Nomination forms can be collected from reception at Sport Hawke’s Bay. Alternatively click on the link below to download a copy of the nomination form.
Please read the entry criteria brfore submitting your nomination forms. This can be downloaded on the link below or collected at our offices.

Nominations close at 5pm on Friday 16th January 2009.

Mike Bishop won the Park Estate Winery, Administrator Award

Kelvin Deaker won the ASB, Official Award

Tremains – Senior Team Award: Kelt Capital Magpies

Peter Russell won the Heineken, Coach Award

Dawn Cumming won the Big Save Furniture, Masters Award

Hawke’s Bay Rowing Clubwon the Nimon, Club Performance Award

Hawkes Bay Multisports Club won the BPX Consultants, Club Operation Award

Zac Guildfordwon the Lion Foundation, Junior Award

Hawke’s Bay Under 19 Coxed Rowing 4won the Carters, Junior Team Award
