Sportfit is the SPARC brand name given to programmes that create sport and fitness opportunities for young people in secondary schools. The commission funds the majority of schools to enable them to provide sports coordination staff and high quality sports education for students. The delivery of the Sportfit programme is facilitated by a nationwide network of Regional Secondary School Sport Directors (RSD's) who work closely with individual sports coordinators within each school.
Sportfit encourages teenagers to develop their skills and enjoyment of sport and active leisure by the provision of the following programmes.
Sport Education
Sports Choice
Sport Leader
Totally Outdoors
Sport Ambassador Programme
Sunday Star-Times Sportfit Future Champions
Winning Women
